Studies of biological aerosols, including the development of methods for the generation of nanoaerosols of medicinal and other biologically active substances, research into their interaction with biological membranes and lung tissue, development of methods for collection and analysis of micro- and nanoaerosols in the atmosphere and in exhaled air of patients for noninvasive contact-free diagnostics of lung diseases.
Methods
The Laboratory is in a possession of a unique set of methods and instruments, both purchased and self-fabricated: atomic force microscopy, nanoaerosol spectrometry, a device for fabrication of microchips from antibodies and DNA, an ultrasensitive immunochemical method, a facility for fabrication of nanofilters and others.
